Summer Retreat 2025

Join us for four days of spiritual inspiration, loving community, joyful kiirtan and peaceful meditation! The Ananda Marga Summer Retreat is an amazing way to start the New Year.

Venue:

This year we are again privileged to be able to use the beautiful Log Cabin Rainforest Retreat. The Camp is set on 20 acres of pristine rainforest adjacent to the Natural Bridge National Park in the Gold Coast Hinterland. The Camp is a wildlife Refuge and Environmental Park. It is habitat for some of the rarer bird and animal life in Australia. A crystal clear creek runs along the bottom of the property with The Lamington National Park across the Creek.

Accommodation is in bunk rooms with 8 bunks per room.  Camping is also available.

​

There are also two other options available at an extra charge: Rosella Cottage, a two bedroom unit with a queen-size bed and two singles and the Platypus unit with one double and one single bed. Contact us for pricing and to reserve.

Program:

Along with our daily routine of collective yoga classes, twice daily kiirtan and meditation and delicious vegetarian meals we will have an exciting program of workshops, classes and evening programs covering many aspects of spirituality, creativity and service.

​

We will also have a walk together through beautiful Natural Arch National Park and the glow worm cave.

A special feature of the New Years Retreat is all night kiirtan on New Years Eve.

Children:
This is a child-friendly place and program. It is important to let us know in advance if you are bringing children so we can plan appropriately.

Details:

Please arrive on Friday, 29 December after 3 pm. Departure is after breakfast on Tuesday, 2 January. The best airport to arrive is the Gold Coast airport . Please let us know if you need to be picked up. Please bring a sleeping bag or sheet, pillow and blanket for your bunk bed.

​

Other helpful items:

Meditation cushion and shawl, comfortable, respectful clothes (revealing or tight clothes are not appropriate at a spiritual gathering), swimmers, notebook and pen, musical instruments and any poetry or other performances or art you would like to share.
